Today is the perfect day to give a shout-out to the silent stars in my new children’s book Teeny Sweeney and the Mustache Cash. They are sweet, lovely and completely hairy. I’m shining the spotlight on those four-legged best friends: dogs!

My family adores our Roxie. She loves to stay close and often snuggles into a blanket near my computer. Roxie’s always here, ready for an exciting game of fetch or to share her puppy kisses.

Do you have a dog? Maybe a cat? Or a gerbil? A lizard (not quite so hairy, but definitely loved)? Pictures, please!!

Let’s take a moment to truly appreciate the love these animals give! I think I see a treat or two coming Roxie’s way!
