Five Minute Friday – The Apostles

What’s Five Minute Friday about?

**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.

Then you’ve come to the right place.

This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five-minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.

That’s something I can get excited about.**

The Apostles

Materials:

Bible

Play-Doh

Lesson:

Ask child if they have heard of the apostles who served Jesus. Can he or she name any? If not, no worries. You are going to learn who they were today. Read Matthew 10:2-4. Explain that these were men who shared the Gospel. They even listened and learned from Jesus! Your child can now make their names using the Play-Doh. If twelve names is too many for a little one’s attention span, maybe two or three. Your child can even use the Bible to help with the spelling.

This is an easy introductory lesson to learning about the men that Jesus chose to spread His message. Have fun!

I pray that you and your child(ren) are blessed by this lesson, and especially God’s Word!

Happy sculpting, and as always happy reading!
