What’s Five Minute Friday about?

**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.

Then you’ve come to the right place.

This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five-minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.

That’s something I can get excited about.**

 

The Birds

Phone

 

Lesson:

 

Read Genesis 1:20-23. Explain that on the fifth day of creation God made the animals in the water and the birds in the sky. Your child can name a few of these animals. A super quick and equally fun activity can be to go outside and have child find birds. You can even use your phone’s timer while your child counts how many birds he or she sees in a minute. Kids enjoy a fast-paced game. Have fun discussing God’s amazing creation!
