Five Minute Friday – Be Strong in the Lord

What’s Five Minute Friday about?

**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.

Then you’ve come to the right place.

This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five-minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.

That’s something I can get excited about.**

Be Strong in the Lord

Materials:

Bible

Paper

Pen

Tape

Lesson:

Read Ephesians 6:10. Discuss this scripture. There is no power like God’s. We can pray for God to give us a strength that only He can give. Write this scripture on a slip of paper. Read Psalm 27:1. What a powerful verse with such powerful questions. With Christ, whom shall we fear? Write this scripture on another slip of paper. Read Psalm 31: 24. With the Lord, we have hope. What a wonderful scripture to brighten a difficult day. Write this scripture on another slip of paper. Now, have your child tape their paper slips to different places around your home. The bathroom mirror and the refrigerator are great places. It is best if he or she tapes it to a place frequented often. This can be a wonderful reminder for the whole family to be strong in the Lord, and we can all use a reminder at times. I pray this lesson blesses you and your family.

Happy taping, and as always, happy reading!
