What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**

Lesson:

This is one of the first lessons I like to teach in our AWANA program. I have found it super helpful as we continue our Bible studies. We, adults can easily forget how important it is to teach children about a Bible’s format. For instance, do our children understand how to use a table of contents? Do they know how to utilize a glossary? Does your Bible highlight Jesus’ words in red? Many of our Bibles contain extra information at the bottom pages and maps in the back. Why have these tools if we don’t use them? For this five-minute lesson, go over this information and more. What a way to help your child better understand how to use his Bible. I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family!
