I bought this book for some sweet littles in my family last year, and they loved it. How precious are Duck and Goose, especially when you throw in fall fun! 

 

 

An Amelia Bedelia Box Set 

written by Herman Parish and illustrated by Lynne Avril

Yes, I included an entire box set on this month’s list. I have always enjoyed the theatrics of Amelia Bedelia, but really, I encourage you to help your child find a character he or she enjoys! Readers, of all ages, can really dig their teeth into an interesting character. This is a fantastic way to help your child meet those reading benchmarks, but more importantly, become a lifelong reader!
