What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five-minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Quick snack (your choice)
Lesson:
After your beginning prayer, read Genesis 9:3. This scripture reminds us that we should give God credit for providing us with food to eat. The plants and animals are His creations. He evens gives us the ability to work hard for our food and the things we have. These types of lessons can really help us gain perspective and be thankful to God. After reading and discussing, you and your child can make a quick snack, praying and giving thanks to God for providing it. My kids love Ants on a Log, or cranberries and peanut butter on celery sticks. I pray this lesson blesses you and your family!
Happy munching, and as always, happy reading!
