What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Chart Paper
Marker
Lesson:
After prayer, read Chronicles 16:34 and discuss its meaning. Goodness, there are many scriptures about giving thanks to God. If another sticks out in your mind, go for it. I enjoy asking my kids and students what they are thankful for. The answers are wonderful and limitless. Create a chart with these many things. You can write something like “What God Has Given Me” in the center of a large circle and branch out with some of these precious gifts, like family. I do pray that this reminder and lesson is a blessing to your family!
Happy charting, and as always, happy reading!
