What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Crayons
Paper
Lesson:
After prayer, have your child draw a self portrait. Once this is completed, read Proverbs 14:30. Explain that God created us with thick hair, or with dimples, or with green eyes, etc., and He wants us to be happy with how He made us. The scripture says that “but envy the rottenness of the bones.” It is not healthy to be envious. This can really apply to so many things, including how we feel about ourselves. How fun it is to go over your child’s self portrait, pointing out his wonderfully unique traits! I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.
Happy appreciating, and as always, happy reading!
