What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Hard-boiled egg
Raw egg
Lesson:
After prayer, read Psalm 111:2. Discuss its meaning. Wow, the Lord does do AMAZING things! How neat it is to study and learn from Him! Now, I don’t know about you, but my household currently has an ABUNDANCE of hard-boiled eggs right now. We colored a lot for Easter. 🙂 So, guess what? We’re going to do a science experiment with hard-boiled eggs! Have your child spin a hard-boiled egg and a raw egg. Is there a difference? Discuss possibilities as to why. Why does the hard-boiled egg move faster? Well, this is because the hard-boiled egg is solid inside. The liquid inside the raw egg keeps the egg from moving quickly.
How incredible are God’s works! He created these properties that we study. He created everything.
I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family!
Happy spinning, and as always, happy reading!
