What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Magazine picture or Internet and printing access
Construction paper
Glue or tape
Marker
Lesson:
After prayer, read John 3:16 in the Bible. Discuss the meaning of this verse with your child. When we understand our sinful ways and our need for Jesus, when we believe in Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice for us, we can join Him in Heaven after leaving this world. The age or maturity of your child can really determine the details and language you share here. After your discussion, your child can print out a picture of many different people or cut it from a magazine before gluing it to the construction paper. You can have your child write John 3:16 beneath the picture.
I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.
Happy teaching, and as always, happy reading!
