What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Lesson:
After prayer, read Jeremiah 29:12. Discuss this verse about praying to the Lord. He really does hear our prayers. There are many verses about prayer. If you have others in mind, do add them here.
Now, since fall is here, you may want to slip a leash on the dog and take a walk as a family. Have you prayed for your neighbors in a while? As you pass homes, pray for those inside. If you’re all sitting in the car rider line, waiting to drop off, go through the list of students and teachers in your child’s class, praying for them all by name. Maybe you spend time earnestly praying for family members today. The list of those to pray for truly goes on and on. Praise God that He hears them all.
I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.
Happy praying, and as always, happy reading,
Amberly
