New Releases in Children’s Books

Posted on January 5, 2018 by admin

Hey, you guys! You all know how I love my book lists. Today I’ve created a short list of new releases that I can’t wait to read. They are in no particular order.

  1. The Word Collector by Peter H. Reynolds

This book looks beautiful. I can so relate to discovering the magic in words, and I think kids will too.

  1. Be Kind by Pat Zietlow Miller

I love the idea that simple acts can change the world, and I love when authors put big ideas into easy-reading text for kids. This sounds right down my alley. Oh, and the cover illustration looks amazing and definitely promising for the rest of the book art.

  1. D-Day : Battle on the Beach (Ranger in Time Series) by Kate Messner

I’m a fan of Kate Messner’s Ranger in Time series. It’s a really cool way to introduce young readers to history, and I’m pretty much a sucker for an interesting time travel story. I’m sure this new release won’t disappoint.

  1. Click, Clack, Moo I Love You! By Doreen Cronin

I’ve been hooked on Duck for years! He’s a hilarious favorite in our house. When there’s a new Duck book, we’re game! Doreen Cronin’s voice always pulls me in, and this Valentine’s book looks no different.

  1. Every Day With Jesus by Charles F. Stanley

I think the idea of this book is super cool. Stanley has written well-received adult devotions that can pair with this new children’s book for a family devotion time. How neat is that!

Bonus:

  1. Teeny Sweeney and the Mustache Cash by Amberly Kristen Clowe

Come on! How do I mention new arrivals and not mention my own??!! That’s crazy talk! Yes, this is a new book I’m particularly excited about. It’s an early reader written by myself and published with Christian publisher Little Lamb Books. The story follows Teeny Sweeney, an entrepreneurial third-grader, ready to finally outwit Amanda Mayweather. Unfortunately, things take a bit of a hairy turn (Hehe, pun intended).

There you have it! I hope that you’re just as excited about this fresh round of books as I am!

Happy reading!
