What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Pencil
Stickers
Letter/Card
Lesson:
After prayer, read Matthew 18:20. Isn’t it exciting to know that where two or three are gathered in God’s name, He is with us! How encouraging! I truly wish this for everyone I know. Discuss this with your children. Do they know kids that they could invite to church? Maybe from their sports activities or clubs? From the gym? Have your child write a letter to invite others to church. He can add stickers to it for a personal touch. You can even print out your church’s address to tape inside. We recently did this lesson in our AWANA group. I was amazed at how eager the kids were to give others their cards. Some even requested an additional card or two.
I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.
Happy inviting, and as always, happy reading!
