What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**
Materials:
Bible
Construction Paper or Card Stock (if you have some available)
Marker
Scissors
Plastic Bag
Lesson:
After prayer, read Matthew 5:14. Discuss being “the light of the world” and how we “cannot be hid.” We are to be bright beacons to lead others to Christ. Now, you or your child can write this verse on a piece of construction paper. Once the verse is completed, have your child draw lines to resemble puzzle pieces on the paper. He can follow the lines with scissors and cut the paper to make a puzzle. Your child now has a fun puzzle with scripture that he can use anytime. Keep the puzzle in the plastic bag for future use.
I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family!
Happy cutting, and as always, happy reading!
