Five Minute Friday – A Father’s Day Activity & Craft

What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**

Materials:

Bible

Rock

Craft Paint

Permanent Marker

Lesson:

After prayer, read 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12. Discuss how your child’s father does the things mentioned: encourages, comforts, and urges his children to live Godly lives. Now, your child can paint a rock for his dad. After the paint dries, he can write “You rock, Dad!” or another encouraging message. What a fun way to let Dad know he is truly appreciated! Your child can even bookmark the above scripture to read as he gifts his rock.

I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.

Happy celebrating, and as always, happy reading!
