Five Minute Friday – Friendship!

What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**

Lesson:

After prayer, read Proverbs 27:9. Discuss its meaning. You know, sometimes I forget just how good confiding and receiving thoughts and advice from a friend can be for my soul. This scripture reminds me. You might be wondering how in the world this relates to kids. When my kids speak to their grandparents, they are speaking to their friends, and I can see how good it is for their souls. If grandparents aren’t available, maybe other trusted family and friends will be. So, whether you take the next few minutes to schedule a phone call or Skype time, or you have your child call right now, this conversation, this time to connect is this week’s activity.

I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.

Happy connecting, and as always, happy reading!
