Five Minute Friday – Memorial Day

What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**

Materials:

Bible

Computer Access

Lesson:

After prayer, read John 15:13. Discuss this verse and what an amazing love this truly is.

Now, introduce Memorial Day to your child. Here is some more information that you may find interesting to share. I understand that it is a solemn topic, but it’s also a necessary topic to help us appreciate the freedoms that we have. For the activity, discuss the rules and expectations regarding the American Flag. You can find these at this link. What a beautiful symbol of liberty!

I pray that you are able to enjoy your family and friends this weekend and also remember and honor those who have fallen while serving.
