Five Minute Friday – Gifts!

What’s Five Minute Friday about?
**Do you ever find yourself wishing you could add scripture to your day? What about your child’s day? And if your anything like me, your days are already totally maxed out on time.
Then you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is for that uber-busy parent who could truly benefit from a five minute Bible lesson with your child. Yes, these lessons are literally five minutes long and posted weekly.
That’s something I can get excited about.**

Lesson:

After prayer, read James 1:17. Discuss this verse and how every good gift, whether talent, people, or many more examples, is gifted to us from God, the Creator of the stars, sun, and moon. He is so sure, unlike the shifting shadows made by the sun and moon. (Next week, we will do an activity to compliment the second part of this scripture!)

Now, show children pictures like Starry Night and Water Lily Pond.

Discuss their beauty and how God gifted the artists with this talent. What talent do your children possess?

I pray that this lesson is a blessing to you and your family.

Happy gift-appreciating, and as always, happy reading!
