Children’s Books for June

With Father’s Day just around the corner, enjoy this list of fantastic children’s books to read with Dad.

The Night Before Father’s Day  by Natasha Wing

Read like The Night Before Christmas, this book is such a fun addition to your library. The illustrations are lovely. The rhyming is whimsical. This book is a real treasure to enjoy.

My Dad Loves Me! by Marianne Richmond

This simple story packs a ton of sentimental punch. The animals are precious, and, by the end, dads are going to feel appreciated for all the seemingly small things they do. How wonderful is that!

How to Catch a Daddysaurus by Alice Walstead

I love the inventive premise of this story. Kids try to catch a Daddysaurus, while also highlighting all the ways dads are so amazing. This book really is a ton of zany fun!

I Love Dad with The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

I love me an Eric Carle book, and this one is no exception. The illustrations are bright and exciting. The text is simple, yet so complimentary to those special dads. This book would be a very special read between Dad and his young reader(s).

I pray that these books are a blessing to you and you have a lovely Father’s Day with your family.

Happy reading!
